Darren McCauley has become the second Institute player to make the switch over to Danske Bank Premiership rivals Coleraine , the talented midfielder joining the Showgrounds outlet last night, just hours before the deadline passed.
The deal comes a week after the departure of former Institute goalkeeper Michael Doherty, who was signed by Coleraine manager Oran Kearney in his first raid of the Riverside.
Meanwhile defender Colm McLaughlin has left the club as well after being signed by Balinamallard United.
McLaughlin had been struggling to make it into Paul Kee’s starting line-up and the prospect of increased first-team action appealed to the Buncrana full-back.
