Two people were taken to hospital following a two-car crash in Co Derry late yesterday afternoon.
Fire crews from Maghera and Magherafelt stations attended the collision which occurred on Glenshane Road near Maghera shortly before 5.00pm.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to release a 65 year old man from one the vehicles.
He, along with the 21 year old male driver of the other car, were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
The Glenshane Road, which was closed at its junction with the Glen Road, has reopened.
