Motorists are being advised to expect traffic delays in Magherafelt in Co Derry for the next five weeks due to a £130,000 road improvement scheme.
The work will see the reconstruction of the footways and resurfacing of the carriageway of a 550 metre stretch of Hospital Road from Garden Street to the main access to the Mid-Ulster Hospital.
Two-way traffic flow will be maintained during the improvement work, however, the road will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, 7 October at 6.00am until Friday, 10 October at 8.00pm to facilitate the final resurfacing.
During the closure diversions will be in place via Garden Street, Rainey Street and Tobermore Road.
All diversions will be well signposted.
Access to businesses and services will be maintained.
