The two Derry members of a syndicate who scooped almost €4.9 million euro in last Wednesday night’s Irish Lottery draw have collected their winnings.
Liam Bradley and Anna McKinney were among 13 members of staff at the Forward Emphasis call centre at Malin Head who scooped the €4,871,046 jackpot.
Liam and Anna travelled with their work colleagues to at National Lottery offices in Dublin this afternoon to collect their prize which sees each of them receive €374,695.84.
Plans for spending the winnings include paying off mortgages, purchasing new cars, holidays and shopping sprees.
The syndicate played Lotto together every week for the last year and the biggest prize they’ve won previous was €150.
One of the lucky group, Maria Doherty, from Clonmany, only joined the company last week and this was the first Lotto draw she entered with the syndicate.
The other ten lucky winners are: Linda McKinley, Greencastle; Marian McCauley, Gleneely; James Bradley, Buncrana; Anne Marie Jordan, Malin; Amanda McFadden, Buncrana (originally from Cavan); Marie McLaughlin, Clonmany; Patricia Quigley, Carndonagh; Helen Doherty, Malin Head; Claire McElhinney, Fahan; and Kelly McMonagle, Moville.
