A parade is to be held in Derry this weekend to mark the centenary of the start of the First World War.
The parade will leave Spencer Road in the Waterside on Sunday and makes its way to the Diamond War Memorial in the city centre where a remembrance service will be held.
It is one of a number of events being held in the city to mark the beginning of The Great War.
On Saturday, a memorial ceremony will take place in the Guildhall at 2.00pm.
The events are being organised on a cross-community basis and people are encouraged to come along and remember the sacrifice of local people during the war.
A spokesperson for the organisers said the Derry events were part of a massive series of memorials being staged worldwide to mark the 100th anniversary of the start of the war.
