Police in Derry are treating a graffiti incident in the Wapping Lane area of Derry as a hate crime.
A police spokesperson said a “racial motive” was suspected for the incident in which the word “out” was painted on a wall of a house in Henry Street occupied by Romanian nationals between 2.00pm and 3.00pm on Saturday last.
The spokesperson said information could be given on the police non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, it can be provided to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
