Police in Derry are appealing for information about a burglary which took place in the city at the weekend.
At about 12.30pm yesterday, a resident returned to his flat at Eden Terrace to find the door had been kicked in and a hi-fi system, Samsung 42-inch television and Daewoo 32-inch television had been stolen.
Appealing for information, Detective Inspector David McQuade said: “These are not the kind of items that could be covertly removed from a flat. Someone may have seen them being taken.”
He added the incident took place between 2.00pm on Sunday and noon yesterday.
DI McQuade added: “Information can be given on the police non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, it can be provided to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
