Institute 0 Portadown 4
Institute suffered one of their heaviest defeats of the season in the Danske Bank Premiership when beaten 4-0 at home by title-chasing Portadown at the Riverside this afternoon.
Tim Mouncey fired the visitors in front within the first five minutes when he followed up a Gary Breen effort which had been cleared off the line by Declan McKeever.
The Ports were two up after eight minutes, Peter McMahon giving Stute keeper Eugene Ferry no chance from 20 yards.
McMahon put the game beyond the home side in the 17th minutes.
Gary Twigg completed the scoring two minutes after the break.
The win sees Portadown replace Crusaders at the top of the table as a result of the Seaview side losing at home to Cliftonville.
