John Crumlish (4) continued his fine recent good form with an overall best gross and best nett winning achievement in yesterday’s Stableford at City of Derry.
His impressive score of 41 points was accumulated after completing the course in 70 strokes.
George (better known as Ortie) Phillips (16) was the best of a trio on 39 points and he took the second prize that was decided over the last six holes.
Christy Donaghy (12) finished in third place and the fourth nett place, awarded as a result of the best gross finishing in the top three nett, was taken by Jonathan Love (10).
