Derry is on “yellow alert” for thunder and heavy rain.
Forecasters are predicting scattered heavy showers becoming prolonged causing “localised flooding” with a “chance of thunder” with a maximum temperature of 14°C.
Heavy showers will continue this evening becoming more isolated overnight. Minimum temperature is expected to be 4°C.
A few heavy showers are forecast for tomorrow though more isolated with a good deal of dry bright weather around. Maximum temperature is predicted to be 14°C.
Further showers are forecast for Friday with bright and showery weather continuing right through the weekend with some good dry spells with light winds.
