Derry senior football captain Mark Lynch has been shortlisted for a GAA Football All-Star award.
The Banagher forward’s nomination follows a number of top League and Championship performances for the Oak Leaf County.
Donegal’s Neil McGee has been shortlisted for the Player of the Year accolade while his team mates Ryan McHugh and Paddy McBrearty have been nominated for the Young Player of the Year award.
Donegal goalkeeper Paul Durcan, full-backs Eamonn and Neil McGee, half-back Frank McGlynn, midfielders Odhran Mac Niallais and Neil Gallagher, half-forwards Ryan McHugh and Michael Murphy, and full-forward Paddy McBrearty are among the All-Star nominations dominated by members of Kerry’s All-Ireland winning team.
The winners will be announced at the annual All-Stars banquet which will take place in the Convention Centre in Dublin on Friday, 24 October.
