Defender Aaron Barry will miss Derry City’s last home game of the season through suspension when Candystripes entertain relegation-threatened UCD in an SSE Airtricity Premier Division clash at Brandywell tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
City manager Peter Hutton will be hoping to end the season at Brandywell on a high.
However, with a fully fit squad available and an FAI Cup final against St Patrick’s Athletic in just two weeks time, “Pizza” is likely to use tonight’s game, along with next Friday’s final game of the season away to Bohemians, as an opportunity to experiment.
UCD manager, Aaron Callaghan – who will watch the game from the stands as a result of a three-game touchline ban picked up against Shamrock Rovers last week – will be without the services the suspended duo of Sami Belhout and Aaron Callaghan.
Tickets for the 2 November FAI Cup final will be on sale at tonight’s game.
Derry City have received over 7,000 tickets which are priced adult €10 (£8), children £5 (£4).
Tickets will be available from all the usual ticket outlets across the city from tomorrow onwards.
