A 58-year-old was arrested following the discovery of what police have described as a “significant number” of cannabis plants in Co Derry last night.
The discovery of the so-called “cannabis factory” was made by members of the PSNI’s Limavady Neighbourhood Policing Team at a house on Farkland Road, near Claudy, at about 7.30pm last night.
A PSNI spokesperson said the scene was still being examined but early indications were that several hundred plants had been uncovered.
