North West Triathlon Club will commence their annual NWTC Winter Series 5k in Derry today.
The popular four race series, which takes place on the banks of the Foyle River, is expected to attract athletes from the local area, most notable from clubs such as City of Derry AC, Foyle Valley AC, PACE Running Club and Bolt Running Club.
City of Derry AC’s Mark Mullan and Gavin Crawford (NWTC) will be amongst the main contenders.
