Graham Hepburn (7) was once again “the leader of the pack,” bringing home his team into top spot in yesterday’s team competition at City of Derry Golf Club with a fantastic 95 points in less than ideal condition.
Helping him to his third such win this season was the redoubtable Fred Young (9), Richard Hamilton (15) and the peerless John Hancock (16) whose birdie on the difficult 16th hole was invaluable.
John Crumlish (4), Tony McDermott (12), Jeremy Thatcher (15) and Shane Kelly (17) scored 91 points and took the second place courtesy of a tie break.
