Almost 4,000 drivers were caught speeding on two of Derry’s busiest roads last year.
Speed camera analysis show 2,343 motorists were detected breaking the speed limit on Dungiven Road in the Waterside while across the River Foyle, 1,574 were caught on the Culmore Road.
A further 134 were “clocked” on the Glenshane Road while 408 were detected on Foreglen Road near Dungiven.
Elsewhere in the North West, 651 were detected speeding at Glenshane Road (Maghera) while in Limavady 286 at Ballyquin Road and 160 0n Dunhill Road.
