Transport Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the start of a major resurfacing scheme on the B41 Tobermore Road, Draperstown in Co Derry.
Work has just started on the scheme and is expected to last for four weeks.
The Minister said the scheme would “greatly improve” the strength and surface quality of this stretch of carriageway on “this important route” into the Sperrins through Draperstown.
A two-way traffic flow will be maintained during this period, except for a two-day closure on 2 and 3 December to facilitate the final surfacing.
The above planned dates are subject to favourable weather conditions and TransportNI will keep the public informed of any change.
Motorists are advised some delays may be expected and that additional time should be allowed when planning any journeys.
