Local digital businesses in the Derry City Council area are being urged to take part in a survey that will help to identify their needs.
The findings of the survey will form part of a report that will contribute to the basis for the current Growing the Digital Economy Programme and future programmes in the Derry City Council area.
Once completed, the survey will assist in producing a database of all companies in the sector including private sector companies and other organisations and individuals operating in the sector across the community, voluntary, academic and public sectors.
Aeidin McCarter, Investment Officer with Derry City Council, said it was an important opportunity for businesses in the local area to get involved and have their say on the city’s digital agenda.
She explained: “A local company have been commissioned on behalf of Derry City Council to contact companies to find out about the digital aspects of their work, what digital tools they need to make their businesses better and how Council can help them make their businesses more efficient and digitally competent.”
Anyone with any queries about the survey is asked to contact Aeidin McCarter directly at [email protected].
