Police are investigating the cause of a fire in a vehicle on the Skeoge Road in Derry last night.
Shortly after 8.30pm, it was reported a Landrover Discovery parked close to the Glenabbey Roundabout was on fire.
Police and firefighters attended and the fire was extinguished.
The vehicle was extensively damaged as a result of the fire.
Inspector Mark Catterson appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to contact police at Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
He added: “Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
