The Derry man arrested as part of inquiries into reports of alleged activity in Syria is to appear in court charged with gun and explosives offences.
Eamon Bradley (25) was arrested by detectives from the PSNI serious crime branch at his home at Melmore Gardens in the Creggan area of the city on Thursday last.
He had been taken to the PSNI’s serious crime suite at Antrim Police Station for questioning.
He is charged with possession of explosives with intent to endanger life and receiving training in the use of firearms and explosives.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court later today.
