UPDATED: A body has been found two kilometres from where missing Derry man Stephen McCloskey’s jeep was found abandoned last week.
The body was found in a river by members of a local gun club at Carrowreagh about half a mile from Bridgend in Co Donegal.
The body has been taken to Letterkenny General Hospital.
Garda Supt Eugene McGovern said the office of the State Pathologist had been informed and a post mortem wouldl be carried out tomorrow morning.
He said Garda investigations into the death are continuing.
