It’s very seldom that a score of 46 points is returned at North West Golf Club, especially when a “no score” is recorded at two holes, however 18 handicapper Michael Gallagher had the round of his life while playing in the Christmas Fayre competition on Saturday.
Helped by benign conditions and forward tees, Michael had a whopping score of 31 points after 11 holes, and despite blanking the 12th and 15th holes Michael added another 15 points for a winning total of 46 points.
In second place with a score that would normally win any competition at North West, was Chris Lavin (22) with 41 points..
Full Result:
1st Michael Gallagher (18) 46 pts
2nd Chris Lavin (22) 41 pts
C.S.S. 37 pts.
