Detectives in Derry are appealing for information about two burglaries at neighbouring houses.
Detective Inspector David McQuade said that on Thursday evening a resident reported her house at Culmore Square had been broken into and ransacked.
While police were at the scene, a neighbour reported his house had also been entered.
A sum of money was stolen.
DI McQuade said Information could be given on the police non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, it can be provided to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
