Police in Derry are to increase their presence in city’s centre in the run up to the festive period in an effort to detect and reduce crime.
Crime traditionally spikes during this period, especially with regard to shoplifting and distraction thefts, and local police are encouraging people to be mindful of their surroundings whilst out shopping and report any suspicious activity/behaviour.
