A road in the Galliagh area of Derry is expected to remain closed for the remainder of the day while repairs are carried out following damaged caused by burst water pipe in the early hours of this morning.
Moss Road was flooded after the pipe burst at around 3.00am.
The water supply to a number homes in the area has also been affected and NI Water engineers are on site to remedy the problem.
Although the road is no longer flooded, a section is expected remain closed for the rest of the day to facilitate temporary re-surfacing work.
