The switch-on of Derry’s Christmas lights will take place in Guildhall Square on Thursday night next, 20 November.
Thousands are expected to attend the event which kicks off at 6.30pm with some live music, with the lights.
As always, Santa, will take a break from his busy pre-Christmas preparations, and fly in from the North Pole to flick the switch at 7.00pm.
This year’s fun will be spread over three areas on the night with entertainment from Elsa and the stars of Frozen in Waterloo Place while the enchanting Frozen Forest will cast its magic on the Peace Garden.
