A man in his 40s has died in a house fire in Derry.
The blaze at a property Upper Bennett Street, off Abercorn Road, was reported to the Fire Service at shortly 8.00am this morning.
Sinn Fein Councillor Patricia Logue said the local community had been left “deeply shocked and saddened” by the tragedy.
