Two men have been arrested by police investigating an attempted bomb attack on police in Strabane last month.
Officers were lured to Ballycolman estate on 23 October following reports of a bomb thrown at a police patrol vehicle the previous night.
The alert was a hoax but a viable device, packed with nails, was discovered in the garden of a nearby house.
More than 130 schoolchildren and a number of householders were moved while it was defused by the Army.
The men, aged 29 and 43, are being questioned at the PSNI’s serious crime suite at Antrim police station.
A number of houses were searched and two cars seized during this morning’s arrest operation.
