Danny Ventre has left Derry City after just one season at the Brandywell club.
The 28-year-old made 26 appearances in a season marred by injury.
He is the latest player signed by Roddy Collins at the start of last season to leave the Candystripes and the second to leave this week following the departure of goalkeeper Ciaran Gallagher, who has returned to Finn Harps.
Cliff Byrne, Roddy Collins Jnr, David Elebert, Jon Paul McGovern, Mark Stewart and Enda Curran all left City after Peter Hutton took over the managerial reins at City following the departure of Collins.
