Police in Derry are investigating two burglaries in the city in which similar methods were used.
A resident discovered a brick had been used to smash a window at De Moleyn Park in the Rosemount area to gain entry.
A 42-inch television was stolen.
Last night, a resident of a house at Hatmore Park returned home to find a rear bedroom window had been smashed using a large stone.
The house was searched through, but nothing was stolen.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday evening, a house at Grove Place (off Carlisle Road) was entered and ransacked.
Detective Inspector David McQuade said information could be given on the police non-emergency number, 101, or by calling the Crimestoppers Charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
