TWO men have been arrested in relation to a dyslexic graffiti attack on the home of a Co Derry DUP mayor.
Coleraine councillor George Duddy’s home was attacked again by spray painters on Sunday evening.
The words ‘CURRY MY YOUGRT’ (sic) and ‘oil my AK-47’ were painted on a garden wall at his house on the Drumaquill Road.
The ‘Curry my yoghurt’ was in reference to a comment made by the DUP’s Gregory Campbell in the Assembly last month and at his party conference a few days later.
The graffiti is being treated by police as a sectarian crime.
Earlier today, two men, aged 26 and 37, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
They are currently in custody helping police with their enquiries.
A source said: “They may be asked to spell the word yoghurt.”
A number of properties are being searched and a number of items have been taken away for further examination.
Police inquiries are continuing and there are no further details at this stage.
