MAN STRUCK WITH IRON BAR IN HOUSE ATTACK

psni101POLICE in Limavady are appealing for information about an assault.

In the early hours of Friday November 28, two men forced their way into a house at Alexander Road and assaulted  a man inside.  He sustained lacerations behind one ear when struck with an iron bar.

Chief Inspector Alan Hutton said a 43-year-old man had been and released on bail, however police were still keen to speak to anyonr who saqw the incident take place.
Information can be given on the police non-emergency number, 101, or by calling the Crimestoppers Charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Detectives at Strand Road are investigating an incident which took place in the Chamberlain Street area of the city in the early hours of Friday 28th November 2014 Sometime around 2.30am, a number of men, at least one of whom was masked, tried to force entry to a dwelling.

Detective Constable Donnell is keen to speak to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or who has any information about the incident and can be contacted at PSNI Strand Road on the non-emergency number “101”.
