Strand Road police urging police to keep an out on schools

POLICE at Strand Road are asking people living near schools to keep an eye on the premises at nights and weekends.

The call follows break-ins at the canteens of Rosemount Primary School and St Joseph’s High School.

Mandy Monteith, the Crime Prevention Officer, urged residents living near schools to report any suspicious activities.

Information can be given on the police non-emergency number, 101, or by calling the Crimestoppers Charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
