PSNI traffic officers and the AA are warning of poor conditions on the roads this morning.
The Met Office has also issued a yellow weather warning for ice with overnight rain freezing on roads, particularly in rural areas, and on housing estates.
Temperatures have fallen to -2C.
There will be more rain later and tomorrow, but Sunday should be bright and clear.
However we could see snow on the hills by Monday.
It will remain bitterly cold over the next four to five days.
