Sinn Féin councillors Mickey Cooper and Colly Kelly have welcomed confirmation from Firmus that they will install a gas connection in the Harvey Street area following a lobby by both representatives.
Councillor Cooper said today: “We are delighted that Firmus have agreed to the installation which was in much demand by residents of the area.
“Following a meeting with the Firmus Chief executive Michael Scott agreement was reached on the installation which will take place between now and the end of January.
“We look forward to the completion of the work which will be very much welcomed by the local community.”
