A MAN has died in a car crash in Co Donegal this evening.
The victim, who was in his 30s, was killed following the crash in the Curransport/Glasserchoo area of Falcarragh.
The dead man was married with children.
Details of the crash have not yet been released.
The area has been sealed off and crash collision investigators are due on the scene tomorrow morning to carry out a full investigation into the cause of the crash.
“It’s shocking any time for this to happen but for it to happen at Christmas is even more tragic. Everyone’s thoughts and prayers are with his poor family,” said one local.
The crash happened following a weather warning about ice on many local roads.
The dead man was the 11th person to be killed on Donegal’s roads in 2014.
