CAR vandals have struck again in Marlborough Street, for the second time in three weeks.
A man in his 30s wearing a brown leather jacket was spotted leaving the scene after slashing three tyres and destroying the windscreen wipers on a car parked there.
The victim says the incident happened at 2am.
“A neighbour chased a man in his 30s wearing a brown leather jacket and brown pointy shoes from Marlborough street towards Creggan,” said the angry car owner.
“When running he fell, so could have cuts or marks. to his face.”
The incident follows similar attacks in the area in December in which a number of cars and homes were damaged.
A number of cars were damaged in the Marlborough, Oakfield and Kerrs Terrace areas of the city in the early hours of Tuesday December 16.
There were also a number of properties damaged in the same area around the same time, some of which had graffiti sprayed on them with the tag “Kev”.
