IT WAS another rough night across the North West as 70mph winds hit.
Now forecasters say another so-called ‘weather bomb’ will hit Ireland on Wednesday – with the North West at its epicentre.
Some forecasters say winds will top 90mph on Wednesday evening and into Thursday, with hail and snow.
It could even see the same conditions as February 12 last year (2014) when hurricane force conditions caused chaos across Ireland and took out power supplies to tens of thousands of homes.
It could trigger a rare Red Alert from the Met Office.
A so-called weather bomb is when pressure drops rapidly over a short period.
