THESE were the scenes in Prehen and the nearby golf course today – after FIVE inches of snow fell over Derry in just 30 minutes in the early hours.
The snow has caused chaos in the city this morning with motorists who do venture out being urged to be extremely careful.
Rural roads around Dungiven, Claudy, Maghera, Eglinton, Limavady, Swatragh and Park are all snowbound.
City of Derry golf course today….play suspended!
