THE NORTH West will see more snow tonight – and snow thunder!
There have all ready been several rattles of thunder and lightning flashes in north Derry.
The storms have caused damage to electrical supplies in Donegal in the past hour.
Weather forecasters say the lightning storm is moving west across Ulster tonight.
The Glenshane Pass is already treacherous after more snow in the past couple of hours and motorists have been warned to slow down there.
Driving conditions elsewhere will get worse as the evening goes on and into Saturday, warned the Met Office.
Transport NI says gritting lorries will be working most main routes overnight tonight and through Saturday as temperatures plunge.
They could go as low as -5C in rural areas of County Derry.
