THE MET Office has issued an ice and snow warning for the North West.
However the Yellow status ‘Be Aware’ alert, issued at 11.30am, predicts minimal snow falls and mostly on hills.
The warning is in place until 10am tomorrow.
Met Office forecasters have warned of difficult driving conditions on untreated roads and footpaths in rural areas.
