ANGER AS VANDALS PUSH BURNT-OUT CAR INTO ROAD OUTSIDE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Untitled 2A BURNT-out car dumped by hoods in Derry and left there for days has been pushed onto the road outside a local primary school.

Angry parents of children at Holy Family Primary School in Ballymagroarty say the vehicle is a hazard – and not something children should see tomorrow on their way to school.

MLA Pat Ramsey says he has asked the Roads Service and Derry City Council to remove the vehicle.

However local people say a gang of hoods in the area is terrorising residents; and they say they’ve had enough.

They also blamed parents of the youths, saying they don’t care that their children are making life unbearable for the “silent majority” of people too terrified to speak out.

“Everyone knows who they are, and who their families are but everyone is too frightened to do anything about it in case we get a car damaged or a window put in,” said one Derry Daily reader in Ballymagroarty.

“People here just want to get on with their lives but these hoods are the scum of the earth; they need to be locked up before they kill a child.”
