Met Office forecasters have issued an early snow warning for Derry and other parts of Northern Ireland.
BBC News have reported that icy conditions are set to return next Thursday and Friday with forecasters predicting heavy snowfall coupled with plummeting temperatures.
Scattered showers coupled with some bright spells are expected to last on and off until Tuesday.
However, after that there will be a big change with cold air plunging in from the North-West that will go right across the country.
That will result in gale force winds and blustery showers of sleet and snow.
Due to the adverse weather conditions expected Met Office have issued an early snow warning for Derry and all of Northern Ireland.
They’ve issued the warning from the middle of Wednesday right through until Friday.
Met Office officials are predicting travel disruption and anything up to 4cms of snow in some low lying areas of Derry.
So don’t pack away the winter woollies just yet as Winter gets ready to bit back again.
