You can get your Easter Eggs now. Even though it’s TEN weeks away!

It’s just under TEN weeks until we celebrate Easter but that hasn’t stopped retailers in Northern Ireland from stocking the shelves with all your favourite Easter Eggs.

They’ve already started to stock Easter Eggs much to the surprise and annoyance of some shoppers in Derry.

One shopper posted on their Facebook timeline of her amazement that there already available to buy.

“I know it’s getting earlier every year with Christmas, but I understand families needing to plan for that, but Easter?

“Is it necessary to stock Easter Eggs ten weeks before the Easter Holidays.

Her views were echoed by several other shoppers who are angry supermarkets have implemented their Easter marketing strategy’s now in January.

“One shopper said, “I can see why they’re advertising for Valentines Day and Mother’s Day, but Easter is months away, it really is madness.

What are your views on it? Is it too early? Or is it just a good opportunity to get those Easter Eggs now before they’re all sold out over the holidays?
