PSNI detectives arrested a man and a woman after they found £2,500 worth of herbal cannabis in their car at Scroggy Road, Limavady, on Saturday evening. 
They were later released pending further enquiries by the PSNI.
The detection was made by Crime Team officers, and Chief Inspector Alan Hutton, the Area Commander, said it underlined a commitment to tackling drugs issues in the area.
Hutton said, “This is the latest in a series of successes over recent months.
“Tackling the trade in illegal drugs is a priority for us, and for many people in our community.
