A man in his 20s is critically ill in hospital following a road crash last night.
It happened in Maghera, south Derry, say police.
He was sustained his injuries after being involved in collision involving two cars on the Coleraine Road at around 10.30 pm on Sunday night.
According to the PSNI, a number of other people were also injured.
They were taken to hospital by paramedic crews however their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The Coleraine Road remains closed on Monday morning.
The PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit is examining the scene.
