Police are appealing for information about an unprovoked assault in Derry.
At around 04:30 am on Monday 19th January a man was walking on the Skeogh Road when three males are alleged to have got out of a small black vehicle.
They approached the victim and started to assault him.
Inspector Terry McKenna said police are yet to establish any motive for the attack however the injured party sustained a number of minor injuries.
