PRAYERS are being said for a Derry priest after the fell from a roof and suffered head injuries.
Ballymagroarty priest Father Paddy O’Kane is being treated at Altnagelvin Hospital.
His injuries however are not serious.
Father O’Kane was repairing a hole in the roof of a garage when he slipped and fell.
“On behalf of the Derry Diocese I would like to wish Fr Paddy a full and speedy recovery,” said Fr Michael Canny, diocesan spokesman.
