OFFICERS from the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit are this morning revisiting the scene of a fatal road crash in Co Derry.
They have been carrying out enquiries into the crash which happened on the Moneymore Road in Magherafelt on Tuesday 1st July last year.
Constable Davy Saunderson said: “A red Peugeot 107 and a white Nissan Qashqai were involved in the collision, just before 9am on the morning of Tuesday 1st July 2014, in which a 51 year old woman died.
“We will be at the scene of the collision between 11 & 11.30am this morning, at Moneymore Road, to carry out a reconstruction.
“The road will remain open but motorists may experience short delays.
“I apologise in advance for any inconvenience but would continue to appeal to anyone with any information to contact officers at the Collision Investigation Unit in Steeple on 101.”
