PSNI officers in Derry have another arrest and seized drugs in an extensive operation in the city.
Raids across the city late last night netted £10,000 worth of Class A drugs.
Police also seized a car and cash in the operation which was helped by local police.
“In an operation earlier which involved Neighbourhood Officers from Strand Road and Waterside, and Crime Team Officers a male person was arrested for a number of drugs offences,” said a Foyle PSNI spokesman.
“Class A drugs in the region of £10,000 have been seized.
“In addition £1,500 cash and a motor vehicle has been seized.”
The raid comes just days after £20,000 worth of drugs were seized in Derry. A suspect has been before the courts in relation to that incident.
